Raytown Walmart evacuated after bomb threat

RAYTOWN, Mo. -- A Walmart in Raytown was evacuated and closed off for several hours Saturday as police investigated a bomb threat. 

The threat was made around 12:30 p.m. to the store on 103000 E. 350 Hwy. Employees and customers were evacuated after police arrived. 

Officers and K9 units searched the store, but nothing was found. 

The threat was deemed unfounded and the store was reopened around 3 p.m. 

An investigation into the threat continues.
