KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Cass County Sheriff’s deputies late Wednesday arrested a registered sex offender as part of a child pornography and child enticement investigation.
Kenneth T. Mize, 36, was taken into custody Wednesday night in Belton, Missouri.
Although listed as compliant in the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s sex offender registry, Mize was been charged with failing to register an online account and e-mail address.
Mize remains in custody at the Cass County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Mize was originally convicted of using a communications device in an attempt to entice a 13-year-old Lenexa, Kansas girl in 2005 when he was 22.
