KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rep. Kevin Yoder (R-Kansas) said he was feeling hopeful after President Trump's first State of the Union address.
Yoder attended the event with a guest, Sunayana Dumala, whose husband was killed in an alleged hate crime at Austin's Bar & Grill in Olathe last year.
Yoder and his guest were both optimistic about Trump's comments on unity and bringing the country together.
