KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A teen center for inner-city youth will soon open in Kansas City, Missouri.
City leaders and representatives from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday for the J&D Wagner Unit Teen Center.
The center, located at 2405 Elmwood Avenue, is nearly 5,000 square feet and will serve up to 75 teenagers, according to a news release.
It also will feature a recording studio and “Maker Space” with cutting-edge technology.
