Some rides at Worlds of Fun temporarily closed down Saturday after a power outage.
The outage happened at about 4 p.m. Saturday and was resolved by about 6:45 p.m. Rides were closed temporarily and "safely evaluated," according to a statement from Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, which owns the park.
"Effected rides were stopped and safely evacuated. As always, the safety of our guests and employees is our highest priority," said Public Relations & Communication manager Erick Burke.
The park remains open until 10 p.m. tonight and is expected to open at regular hours Sunday.
