KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Douglas County law enforcement is investigating a fatal crash between Lawrence and Eudora.
It's the second fatal crash to happen on Kansas 10 in Douglas County on Monday.
The crash took place around 10:50 a.m. near East 1900 Road.
A preliminary investigation from the sheriff's office determined that the vehicle was driving eastbound before veering off the south side of the highway and hitting a bridge pillar.
The driver was Raymond B. Schell, 85, of Lawrence. He was killed in the crash.
No other details about the deadly crash have been released at this time.
