UPDATE, 6:30 a.m. | The I-70 eastbound to I-435 southbound ramp is back open.
EARLIER | A semi overturned on Interstate 70 eastbound, shutting down the ramp to Interstate 435 southbound early Monday morning.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department said a semi overturned on the ramp shortly after 3 a.m.
No injuries were reported, but the crash caused an oil spill from the semi.
The ramp has been shut down while haz-mat crews work to clean up the small oil spill.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
It's not yet known when the ramp will be reopened.
