We’re 22 days into the new year. So, how is that resolution about getting fit coming along?
Well, if you need a little more encouragement, you need to get in the zone.
Zone 6, to be exact.
Since December, Zone 6 Fitness on Burlington, north of the river, has been helping people change their lives.
Now, they are running 21 Day Challenges.
A new one started today with lots of folks there before the sun came up.
According to trainer Heather Bender, 21 days is a doable plan. It does not intimidate newcomers.
Also, the 21 days involves more than just showing up at the gym.
It means classes…virtual and real…eating right and, basically, adopting a new, healthy lifestyle.
General Manager, Chris Regina says the whole idea behind Zone 6 is to make walking in the door and getting to work a welcoming experience for all people, especially those who may not have worked out before.
It is a massive facility.
The traditional gym and classrooms on one side.
A “Fitnasium” for youngsters and a Training Zone for student athletes, on the other.
The year is still young!
Take your New Year’s fitness resolution into a new zone!
21 days at a time.
