KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the KC area until 4:45 a.m.
According to the NWS, there is the potential for up to 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
Impacted locations include Northeastern Wyandotte County, Northeastern Miami County, Eastern Johnson County, Northern Cass County, Southwestern Clay County, Southwestern Ray County and Jackson County.
The NWS also says there could be wind damage to roofs, siding and trees.
