KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of the Kansas City metro until 5:30 a.m.
The warning is for Wyandotte County, northwestern Miami County, southwestern Leavenworth County, Johnson County, northwestern Cass County, southwestern Clay County and western Jackson County.
According to the NWS, there is the potential for up to 60 mph wind gusts.
