BNSF is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a shooting suspect at a rail yard on Dec. 19.

According to the initial investigation, the suspect fired about 10 rounds from a 9mm pistol into the Argentine Yard in Kansas City, Kan. from the 42nd Street Bridge.

No one was seriously hurt, officers said, but an employee was stuck in the leg by what is believed to be a ricocheted bullet or fragment from the vehicle. He is expected to be okay.

One of the ricocheted bullets went through the grill of a Kubota vehicle and into the cab. Another entered the vehicle's rear passenger side tire.

The next morning, mechanics discovered a bullet in the vehicle's cab and noticed the bullet holes in the tractor.

BNSF Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Deputy Chief of Police Kevin Anderson is asking you to call 800-832-5452 if you have any information regarding the case.
