KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol canceled the Endangered Silver Advisory it issued on behalf of the Greenwood Police Department for a woman who went missing Monday afternoon.
Jessie Anne Lucas, 84, was heading to a doctor’s appointment in Lenexa but never made it.
Around 2 p.m., Lucas was contacted at a gas station in Lenexa, where she got help fueling her car and asked for directions to Lee’s Summit, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
She left the gas station on 95th Street heading southbound on Interstate 435, but had not been seen since then.
Law enforcement said Lucas was located safe at her residence in an announcement shortly before 10 p.m.
