KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE 10:25 p.m. | Police in Leawood said Paul "Gene" Wuellner has been found safe and "will be home soon."

ORIGINAL STORY | Police in Leawood are asking for help to locate a missing 85-year-old man.

Police say Paul "Gene" Wuellner was last seen around 1:15 p.m. on Friday at his home in the area of West 129th Street and Mission Road.

Wuellner, who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, diabetes and other medical conditions, could be driving a black 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with Kansas license plate VOX-237.

He was last seen wearing a blue jeans, though no other closing description was available.

Wueller is described as 6-feet tall and 165 pounds with white hair and brown eyes.
