Missing Excelsior Springs man found safe

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. -- UPDATE 1:35 PM 11/6/2017: The Clay County Sheriff's Department says David L. Williams has been found safe after he went missing from his home on Sunday. 

PREVIOUS COVERAGE: 

A 91-year-old man has been missing from his Excelsior Springs home since Sunday and may be in danger, according to a Clay County Sheriff's Department release. 

The Clay County Sheriff's Department issued a Silver Advisory for David Williams, who they say got in an argument with his wife and left his home on Gabe Travis Circle around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The release said Williams has shown signs of developing dementia and/or Alzheimer's symptoms. Williams is hard of hearing, the sheriff's office said, and has difficulty seeing at night.

Williams does not have a cell phone.
