KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was killed in a single-vehicle collision in Kansas City, Missouri, Saturday night.
According to KCPD, officers were called to East 68th Street and Troost Avenue just after 7 p.m. for a collision.
Police determined that a silver Buick Century was traveling southbound when the driver lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree.
The 53-year-old driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The man was later identified as David Webster Frowner of Kansas City, Missouri.
It's not clear if rainy conditions played a factor in the crash.
