KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Smithville Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing man with schizophrenia.
Police are looking for 41-year-old Nic R. Allen.
He was last seen leaving 306 W. Summit St., Smithville, MO at 1 p.m. Monday. Officials believe he is on foot and may be heading to his father's home in Joplin.
He's described as a white male, 6'1" and 200 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black ski cap, black jacket, dark gray sweatpants and white shoes.
Anyone with any information on Allen's whereabouts is encouraged to call 911, the nearest law enforcement agency or Smithville police at 816-532-0500.
