KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Photo Playhouse is a place to see fun, creative art that can double as a backdrop for awesome photos and selfies.
The pop-up photo spot opened on February 10.
“We were actually invited to do the selfie boutique which took place here in Westport at Snow & Co. After that, we decided to come and take it under our wing and do it on our own,” said Andrew Leider, founder and co-artist at the Photo Playhouse.
For a one-time $10 charge, a person can visit and take photos at the Photo Playhouse until March 10.
People are encouraged to bring camera equipment, a change of clothes, or whatever they would need for great pictures.The backdrops change and on the weekends, a live band is present.
“If it really takes off, we’ll probably try to extend it a few more weeks so we can cover St. Patty’s day as well and maybe up until the end of March,” Leider said.
The Photo Playhouse is located on 4141 Mill Street in Kansas City, Mo.
