KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City region is set for a scorcher on Friday.
The National Weather Service has included the region in a heat advisory from 1 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8.
KSHB 41 Weather’s Wes Peery says heat index values could approach 110 during the afternoon hours Friday. Actual highs are expected in the mid-90s.
