KANSAS CITY, Mo. — School administrators in the Lafayette County C-1 School District have canceled school for Friday, Feb. 13, due to a staff shortage.
Late Thursday afternoon, Superintendent Aaron Knipmeyer said the staff shortage was caused by the number of staff who called out due to illness.
Janitorial crews will spend Friday disinfecting schools across the district.
Students in the district’s Vocational/Tech program will still have class Friday morning in Lexington.
