UPDATE: Suspects retreated from the home after police deployed tear gas.

Police had a home in KCK surrounded after two robbery suspects were believed to be in the home near 25th and Garfield.

The robbery happened on Friday at around 12:30 p.m. at the Timothy Baptist Church, a block away from the home.

Police say they tried to take the pastor’s car, but failed and the pastor is now recovering from the attack.

One of the suspects is 20 years old and the other is 19.
