JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. -A reported stolen vehicle led to a high speed chase from Lenexa to Spring Hill from several law enforcement agencies before it crashed Sunday morning.

The Johnson County Sheriff's office says Lenexa tried to stop a silver Toyota 4Runner, shortly after 9:00 Sunday morning.

The vehicle took off, and a high-speed chase began.

Lenexa and Olathe police officers tried to stop the vehicle, but it refused, and continued south onto 169 Highway.

The Kansas Highway Patrol then joined in the pursuit, and also attempted to stop the 4Runner, to no avail.

The vehicle entered Spring Hill, where Spring Hill Police took the lead on the chase. The suspects then crashed into another vehicle at Madison and Nichols Streets shortly before 10:00.

Two suspects in the fleeing vehicle were transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

One driver in the other vehicle was not transported.

It's not yet known where the vehicle was reported stolen from. An investigation is underway.
