KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was injured in a shooting at East 39th Street and Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Sunday evening.
The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m.
Kansas City, Missouri, police confirmed the person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The victim has not been identified at this time. The shooting is under investigation.
