Suspicious packages shut down Main Street at bus stop

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri bomb Squad shut down Main Street between 9th & 10th streets Monday morning due to two suspicious packages.

Police responded shortly after 8:30 a.m. after two packages were left at the bus stop.

The KCPD Bomb Squad was called and shut down Main Street between 9th & 10th Street while they sent the robot in to investigate.

The boxes were determined to not be a danger, and Main Street was back open shortly after 10 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
