UPDATE 2/15: The victim died this afternoon at a local hospital, according to a representative of the Kansas City Police Department. Police are now investigating his death as a homicide.

Kansas City police were called to a shooting on the 10400 block of East 39 Terrace on Monday around 10 a.m.
The victim, a teenager, was found by officers at the back of the home.
He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Witnesses told police two men ran off after the shooting.
