A Blue Springs teenager will take a trip his family didn’t think would be possible.

Dylan Lovell, 14, has a rare disease where his nerves don’t function. It leads to GI issues and keeps him from walking and talking. But MO-KAN Carstar and the Make-A-Wish Foundation set up a trip for him and his family to go to Disney World.

“He is so excited,” Trina Lovell, Dylan’s mom, said. “He’s been Googling Disney things since he found out about the trip.”

Dylan loves Disney, including the movies “Cars,” “Aladdin” and “Finding Nemo.” Because of Dylan’s health, his family hasn’t been able to do anything like this for several years.

“He’s just so ready to go,” Lovell said. “Have some fun.”

All six members of Dylan’s family will leave for the trip Thursday. They’ll spend the week in Disney World.
