The woman charged with multiple counts related to a deadly fire that killed two Kansas City Fire Department firefighters and injured two others pleaded not guilty to all counts Monday morning.
Thu Hong Nguyen, 43, was charged Friday with felony of causing catastrophe and two counts of second-degree assault in regard to two injured firefighters. Nguyen already faced two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Larry Leggio and John Mesh and one count of first-degree arson.
Nguyen’s attorney spoke to 41 Action News’ Brian Abel on the additional charges:

Nguyen’s next court appearance will be in front of Judge Joel Fahnestock at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 9. She remains in custody on a $2 million bond.
