KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A traffic crash Monday night killed a 75-year-old Overland Park woman.
The deadly crash happened at about 8:30 p.m. at West 127th Street and Quivira Road.
Overland Park police said the victim, Barbara Patterson, was driving west on West 127th Street when the crash occurred.
A vehicle going south on Quivira Road collided with Patterson's vehicle, according to an Overland Park Police Department news release.
She died a short time later.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the news release.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the department's Traffic Safety Unit.
