KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Troy, Kansas, man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Kansas Highway 7 near 318th Street Thursday night in Atchison County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Dustin B. Saunders, 32, was driving a 2001 Ford F150 northbound on K7.
It's not clear what caused Saunders to lose control and leave the roadway, where the car struck a tree.
The pickup spun around and came to rest in the east ditch of K7.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
