LENEXA, Kan. - Halloween costumes, candy, big trucks and smashing pumpkins started the day for youngsters in Lenexa.
The first Truck or Treat got underway at the Municipal Services Complex on Cottonwood Street.
From 8-11 kids can check out monstrous trucks up close, watch demonstrations, help paint snow plows and more.
The goal is for kids to learn about Lenexa's Municipal Services Department, through it's facilities management, fleet maintenance, storm water, streets and traffics division.
Crews operated backhoes, sewer pipe cameras and more.
