Truman Lake drowning victim identified as Montana man

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Montana man drowned at Truman Lake Tuesday evening, according to an incident report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report stated that the man was found in the Tebo Arm of the lake in Henry County near Tightwad, Missouri. The man was found at 7:34 p.m.

He was identified as 57-year-old Lane Panasuk of Butte, Montana.

MSHP said they didn't know why Panasuk was in the water. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
