Two people were arrested in a stolen van Friday night, and were found with drugs, an explosive and a 1-year-old child.
Jackson County sheriff's officials were called about a suspicious vehicle on the edge of a pasture in a wooded area in the 17000 block of 98th Road.
Deputies arrived and discovered Christopher Allen Dollen, 34, of Valley Falls, and Cassandra Nichole Reveles, 28, of Denison in a Ford van, reported stolen from Shawnee County.
Both had outstanding warrants from Topeka, and allegedly had methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an item believed to be an improvised explosive.
A 1-year-old child was also in the van, and was taken into protective custody.
Both were arrested on multiple drug charges, child endangerment and trespassing.
The two are being held in the Jackson County jail. Bond has not yet been set.
