KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two men with guns entered the Walmart store at 8551 N. Boardwalk Avenue Sunday afternoon, but no injuries have been reported.
Police were called to the scene shortly after noon on two men armed with guns.
According to police the two men had handguns in their waistbands and stated they were there to purchase ammunition for target practice.
Several shoppers told 41 Action News that many people began running from the store.
Just a few minutes later, both men were taken into custody.
The men were cooperative and broke no laws. Walmart does not have signs that prohibit carrying guns in the store, so the men were released at the scene.
