Gunfire wounded a man and a woman Friday night.
Police said the shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. near 71st and Prospect in Kansas City, Missouri.
The man may have been hit by five gunshots, according to police. He was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle. He is in life-threatening condition.
The woman suffered a bullet wound to her left arm.
