UPDATE, Aug. 10 | The victim was identified as 35-year-old Blake Whitman.
ORIGINAL STORY, Aug. 8 | Two men were shot and one died in the 5200 block of Wayne Avenue shortly after midnight.
Police were called to a shooting at about 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims in a vehicle suffering apparent gunshot wounds.
One was pronounced dead at the scene, the second was transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
