KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man and woman were shot, and a woman was taken into custody following a shooting Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive shortly after 3:00 p.m.
Upon arrival officers discovered a man and woman with apparent gunshot wounds.
Both were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
A female suspect, known to both the man and woman was seen walking away from the residence on foot. She was taken into custody without incident.
An investigation is underway.
