A driver suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash on J C Nichols Parkway Friday morning.
Kansas City police said a pizza delivery vehicle was heading westbound on 43rd Street when their vehicle was struck by a pickup truck driving southbound on J C Nichols Parkway.
Police said the pickup driver ran a red light and hit the delivery vehicle.
The pickup truck driver was not wearing a seatbelt. They are at an area hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The delivery driver is said to be OK.
