KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Parade-goers planning to Uber downtown shouldn't expect to be dropped off right on the parade route, the company told 41 Action News Wednesday morning.

A company spokesperson said riders will be able to choose from several drop-off sites, each of which will be between two and four blocks from the route.

When it's time to leave, Uber drivers will pick up riders from the parade route along Holmes and Baltimore.

Fans at the rally will need to meet their drivers just south of the World War I Memorial and Museum.

Those specific pick-up locations include:

  • 31st Street and Pennsylvania Avenue
  • 31st Street and Walnut Street
  • 27th Street and Gillham Road
  • 25th Street and Madison Avenue
  • 25th Street and Cherry Street

Uber reminded riders to double check the name of their driver and the car's make and model using the app before they get inside any car.
