KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Kansas will delay resuming classes until March 23.

In a statement released Wednesday night, the university said that faculty will take March 16-22 to “transition their course content.”

This strategy, according to the statement, “limits in-person exposure after spring break to align with the estimated COVID-19 incubation period.

While classes are moving online, the statement said that the campus will remain open, including student housing and on-campus dining.
