Power is back on for residents in Shawnee after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole Thursday morning.
Officials said around 1 a.m. a vehicle hit a utility pole at 60th Street and Ballentine in Shawnee. The crash knocked out power to the area for a few hours.
KCP&L crews restored power to the area Thursday morning.
Shawnee police said the driver was arrested at the scene.
