Vehicles burglarized in Prairie Village, two arrested

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. - Police were called to an auto burglary early Saturday morning, and learned multiple vehicles were broken into overnight near 76th Terrace and Lamar.

Officers were initially called to the area about 2:40 Saturday morning on an auto burglary.

Upon arrival officers found multiple vehicles had been burglarized in the area.

After further investigation, one man was taken into custody near 77th Terrace and Tomahawk Road, and a second man near 75th & Nall Avenue.

Police say an 18 year-old male and a 19 year-old male, both from Overland Park were transported to the Johnson County Jail awaiting theft charges.

Police have not yet released their id.

The investigation continues.
