KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person sustained critical injuries in a Saturday night shooting near 36th Street and Cypress Avenue.

The call came out around 8:45 p.m.

Kansas City, Missouri, police confirmed that one person was critically injured and taken to the hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation.
