KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A water main break at 72nd and Antioch may cause headaches for Johnson County, Kansas, morning commuters.
Merriam police said the break happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday.
In an update tweeted early Tuesday morning, police said crews continued work and a new traffic pattern had been established.
Police said northbound and southbound routes were open, but with only one lane in each direction.
Police asked residents to take an alternate route to reduce congestion and limit delays.
It's unclear when work on the water main will be finished, police said.
