KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City metro church helped one woman celebrate her 100th birthday.
Grace Baptist Church organized a parade for Ethlyn McCleave after her original party was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
"It is just wonderful,” McCleave said. “I could never fathom anything like this."
McCleave is known for her time spent as a Rosie the Riveter during World War II, among other accomplishments.
She said her secret to life is all about family.
