KANSAS CITY, Mo. — More dangerous temperatures are on the way as a wind chill advisory will go into effect in Kansas City at midnight Friday.

Wind chills are expected as low as 10 to 20 degrees below zero.

The wind chills can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Anyone traveling outside should use caution and wear appropriate clothing which includes hats and gloves.

The advisory will be in effect from midnight Friday until noon.
