KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Future brides and grooms had a chance to meet more than 200 vendors who could help with wedding day plans.
The 2020 Winter Wedding Show is being held this weekend at the Kansas City Convention Center. Wedding professionals like Katie Loomis, director of business development at Icon Event Group, said that couples are thinking outside the box for their big day.
"We just did an amazing New Year’s Eve wedding with a leopard print dance floor, a disco ball, snow machine,” Loomis said. “So they kind of set the tone for 2020."
The wedding expo runs until 5 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
