KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 60-year-old Lawrence woman died after being hit by a car while crossing the street Friday night.
Officers were called to West 19th Street and Naismith Drive around 8:40 p.m.
The victim, identified Monday as Lawrence resident Emily Lepley, died at the scene.
Police haven't released any information on the vehicle or whether or not the driver stopped.
The investigation is ongoing.
