KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is suffered a life-threatening injury after being stabbed in Olathe overnight, but was later charged in the incident.
Police were called to the 500 block of North Parker Terrace just after 1:00 a.m Saturday onfor an armed disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers located a 37-year-old man suffering from a stab wound.
He was transported to an area hospital with a life-threatening injury.
A 38-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene. After further investigation, she was released and was not charged.
The man who was stabbed, Michael James Young, was charged with aggravated battery and remains in custody.
He is in stable condition.
