UPDATE, Nov. 20 | The victim was identified as 47-year-old Stacy Hansen of Kansas City, Kansas.
KCKPD also made a correction stating the vehicle was headed south on 18th Street, not north.
ORIGINAL STORY, Nov. 19 | A woman was killed in an early morning crash in Kansas City, Kansas, on Thursday.
According to police, a vehicle was headed north on 18th Street when it took the ramp to Merriam Lane but went off the road and crashed.
The female passenger was killed in the crash.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
KCKPD is investigating the crash.
