KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A house fire in Olathe claimed the life of a woman late Friday night.
The call was received just before midnight for a fire near 159th Street and Ridgeview Road.
Olathe officials said a woman — identified Monday, May 9, as Charmaine Marie Phillips, 41, of Olathe — was killed.
No other injuries were reported.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
