KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Multiple agencies are investigating a shooting Friday night along Interstate 435 that injured a woman.
Around 7:45 p.m., police and paramedics were sent to I-435 and NE Cookingham Drive on a reported shooting along the ramp.
Police say a woman riding in the cab of a semi was shot by someone in another car. Her injuries were considered not life-threatening.
Police closed the northbound lanes of I-435 at 96th Street as part of their investigation.
A suspect description was not immediately available.
